Product Applications
Thisproduct can be used in a wide range of personal care applications such as:
l Skin care
l Color cosmetics
l Sun care
Dosage
Slowlyadd the water phase into the oil phase, and then stir the mixture quickly tilluniform. Speeding up the stirring can improve the stability of the emulsionsystem.
l Stir the oiland emulsifier thoroughly before adding water to emulsify.
l If all theingredients are liquid, emulsification can be operated at room temperaturewithout homogenizer. Quick stirring can attain stable emulsion.
Electrolytes,preferably NaCl at a level of 0.5-2% should be added to the water phase toattain storage stability. Adding some antifreeze agents such as propanediol andglycerin can improve the antifreeze effect of the finished product. Increasingthe water proportion can improve viscosity of the system.
Therecommended dosage is 1-4% as major emulsifier, and 0.1-1.5% as auxiliaryemulsifier (according to the total amount of the formulation).
